Dr. Grace Brown, PT, DPT graduated in 2012 from the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee with a Bachelor Degree in Science, Kinesiology. She stayed at her alma mater to complete her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2015. Dr. Brown found her calling as a physical therapist after her own experience as a patient rehabilitating from surgery. She was inspired by the healing process and impressed by the impact physical therapy had on her quality of life. She strives to impact her patients’ lives in the same positive way.
Brown’s clinical experiences have allowed her to be a versatile practitioner in the outpatient environment. She has traveled throughout Wisconsin to gain experience in post-surgical rehabilitation and spine care, including joint replacements, surgical repairs, low/mid back pain and headaches. Dr. Brown has also worked with a multitude of patient populations, from athletes to weekend warriors to industrial workers.
Dr. Brown has also worked with Veterans at the Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center in Milwaukee, WI. This experience allows her to appreciate the specific injuries and medical conditions that are associated with military service. Due to the exposure Dr. Brown has had with the processes and documentation at the VA, she is better able to transition Veterans from their hospital stay to continued recovery at the outpatient level.
When Dr. Brown is not in the clinic you can find her sailing on Lake Michigan, rallying on the tennis court, or buried in a good book.
She is a proud member of the American Physical Therapy Association.
