Sean C. McGarigle, PT, MPT is the on-site Physical Therapist in the National DCP Distribution Center in Westampton, NJ.

Sean graduated from the University of Delaware in 1994 with a Bachelor's degree in Biology. After working in the physical therapy field for a few years, he enrolled at the University of St. Augustine, where he received his Master's degree in Physical Therapy in 1999. Sean then received his certification as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) from the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) in 2000.

Sean began working in the outpatient orthopedic setting directly following school and has been practicing Physical Therapy for over 17 years. He has treated numerous patients with a variety of musculoskeletal conditions ranging from the sprain and strain to the most complicated postoperative patients. Sean has treated children, adults and the geriatric patient. He has also rehabilitated athletes from high school to the professional level and progressed them with sport specific programs. Sean tends to specialize in shoulder and knee dysfunction as well as the lumbar spine. His treatment style focuses heavily on manual therapy and functional exercise while being sure to educate his patients about their particular injuries.

Sean has attended numerous Physical Therapy continuing education courses to broaden his knowledge base and has also been an instructor for various joint mobilization seminars. Sean is currently enrolled at his alma mater, the University of St. Augustine, to further his education. Sean will be receiving his Manual Therapy Certification (MTC) and his transitional Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) upon completion of his coursework.

Sean feels that professional education and continuing education is crucial for being a successful therapist. Educating his patients is another way that optimizes the patient's success. Sean feels that the more the patient knows about his or her injury and how to take care of it, the better the outcome and long-term wellness.

Sean is a married father of 4 children. The family lives a very active lifestyle and is involved with sports and traveling.
