Dr. Cindy Couri Behrends, PT
Cindy Couri Behrends graduated from Augustana College in 1980 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Northwestern University in 1982 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy. She developed the work hardening program in 1986 for the Institute of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation in Peoria, IL. She has worked in both inpatient and outpatient settings including Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO and Associated Orthopedic Surgeons of Peoria, in Peoria, IL. She has been a practicing physical therapist for 38 years, with the last 30 years treating primarily orthopedic patients.
Cindy was in private practice for 20 years as the owner and CEO of Princeton Physical Therapy. In October of 2019, she sold her practice to Doctors of Physical Therapy, where she now works as the Clinic Director of the Princeton Clinic.
