Dr. LaRue graduated Summa Cum Laude in 2003 from the University of Indianapolis with a Bachelors’ of Fine Arts degree in Human Biology and Spanish. She advanced her education by completing her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Massachusetts General Hospital Institute of Health Professions in 2006, which at the time was ranked fourth best program in the country.
Over the course of her career, Dr. LaRue has practiced in subacute in-patient and orthopedic outpatient settings and has developed specialty treatments focus on vestibular rehabilitation, cervicogenic headache, post-concussion rehabilitation, and neck pain. She also highly enjoys treating low back pain, and post-surgical conditions. She utilizes a holistic approach into her treatments so that the ENTIRE person is taken into account, rather than only the diagnosis.
Dr. LaRue has a passion for providing not only excellent physical therapy rehabilitation, but also for providing an outstanding overall customer experience. She believes that in order to achieve long-standing success and decrease recurrent injury, it is vital to both listen to the patient, and educate the patient on their issue, the rehabilitation process and injury prevention strategies.
Dr. LaRue is a certified Kinesiology Taping Therapeutic Practitioner and is certified by the APTA as a Clinical Instructor. She is bilingual in English and Spanish.
When she is not in clinic, Dr. LaRue enjoys gardening, spending time with her family, and going hiking in the area.
