Dr. Chad Alford PT, DPT, CKTP, SFMA

Dr. Chad Alford PT, DPT, CKTP, SFMA, is an occupational medicine clinical manager for Doctors of Physical Therapy’s on-site clinic with Dart Container for multiple plants in the Georgia area.

 

Dr. Alford graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Human Resources: Business Management in Virginia where he was a Resident Assistant and Division 1 soccer athlete. Alford continued with his Pre-Med degree at UNCG while at the same time became a working Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT). Dr. Alford received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree at Mercer in Atlanta, GA and performed his clinical rotations at a TBI Rehab Center in Atlanta, GA and Outpatient Rehab Center in Seattle, WA.

 

Prior to joining DPT, Dr. Alford worked as a Supervising Physical Therapist for a medical center focusing on occupational medicine and rehab. He treated patients with wide range of Orthopedic and Neurological conditions, prepared them for safe and timely return to work and conducted human-performance evaluation, while operating a clinic and leading a small team of Physical Therapy Assistance (PTA).

 

Dr. Alford is a strong supporter of individualized, evidence-based, manual therapy-focused treatment approach. He is passionate about holistic and prevention focused treatments. He is a Certified Kineso-taping Practitioner (CKTP) and certified in Selective Functional Movement Assessments (SFMA).

 

He is fluent in American Sign Language (ASL) and currently leaning Spanish.
