Dr. Dan Ciechanowksi

Dan Ciechanowski received his undergraduate degree in Health Sciences at Northern Illinois University in DeKalb. He completed his graduate degree studies in Physical Therapy at Northern Illinois University in 2012.


During his time at Northern Illinois, Dan had a very successful academic career, and he was honored to be on the Dean’s List during each semester of the academic curriculum.


His areas of experience include outpatient orthopedics, with a background in work hardening/conditioning, and a strong background in spinal rehabilitation. He also has experience with inpatient care where he worked in hospital settings. While there, he also gained experience in wound care.


Dan continues to enjoy taking continuing education courses, especially within the area of manual therapy. Through the application of various hands-on techniques, he believes he can effectively produce positive outcomes for his patients He also enjoys researching journal articles to keep up with the latest advances within the field of physical therapy.


Over the years, Dan has participated in many sports including: track and field, baseball, and martial arts. Through these activities, he has had many sports related injuries. He believes rehabilitating from these injuries has enabled him to gain a deeper understanding of many orthopedic conditions, and has helped him to better serve his patients with their own unique health challenges.


In his free time, Dan enjoys visiting with friends and family. He also likes walking for leisure in parks near his home. As has always been the case, he still loves to exercise, and regularly lifts weights and bikes.
