Dr. Kristina Grassl
Kristina Grassl PT, DPT graduated from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities with her Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology in 2006. She continued her education at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities where she earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2009. She graduated with honors from both her undergraduate and graduate studies, and served as the class president of her graduate school class.
Kristina began her career in the outpatient clinical setting in Boise, Idaho. She enjoyed a hands-on approach to treating patients with a variety of orthopedic injuries and was closely involved with the running and dancing community. She also enjoyed post-surgical rehabilitation addressing the spine, upper and lower extremities. Kristina has experience working in clinical settings outside of the orthopedic clinic including home-care and sub-acute rehabilitation working with high level disability including dementia care, spinal cord injury, stroke, traumatic brain injury, and amputations.
Kristina enjoys the challenge of identifying the root cause of injury and providing an individualized treatment plan to optimize the patient’s success to achieve their maximal level of function and pain management. Throughout her career she has kept up to date with her orthopedic manual therapy skills participating in multiple continuing education courses.
Kristina spends her free time staying active, camping and backpacking, learning to golf, cooking, and enjoying quality time with her spouse family friends and labradoodle.
