Dr. Chavda is the Clinic Director of the West Dundee/Elgin Doctors of Physical Therapy location.
Dr. Neha Chavda, PT, DPT graduated from Wayne State University in Detroit, MI in 2010 with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Prior to the graduate program she earned her Bachelor’s in Science degree and a Minor in Psychology. Throughout her college career she continued to work in hospitals and Physical Therapy outpatient clinics to assist patients with orthopedic and neurological conditions in their recovery process.
Shortly after graduation, Dr. Chavda relocated to Chicago, IL to start her career in outpatient Physical Therapy. Dr. Chavda will empower her patients and facilitate individualized programs to meet their functional needs. Dr. Chavda also emphasizes patient education throughout their plan of care as this is a huge factor in patient recovery. She has worked with adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Dr. Chavda specializes in post-operative orthopedic rehabilitation, balance and gait dysfunction, spine rehab, inflammatory and overuse injuries, work-related injuries, vestibular rehab, and athletes. Dr. Chavda has worked along side a group of 15+ orthopedic surgeons and can treat the most complex post-operative patients following unique protocols to further enhance patient recovery.
Dr. Chavda is certified in Graston technique and Dry Needling. She also is an expert in myofascial release technique, neuromuscular rehab, Maitland technique for manual therapy, DiMaggio/McKenzie form of spine rehabilitation, a strong base in therapeutic exercise specializing in Pilates-based rehabilitation for core/pelvic stabilization and strengthening. Dr. Chavda ensures providing patients one-on-one time during each session in order to help patients recover faster, to develop a unique plan of care to progress to their highest functional level and achieve their goals.
In her free time, Dr. Chavda likes to spend quality time with her two young children and family. She enjoys home remodeling projects, dancing and choreographing Bollywood dances, and reading.
