Dr. Rebecca Jalnos PT, DPT

Dr. Rebecca Jalnos graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. She continued her education and received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Rosalind Franklin University. While attending Rosalind Franklin, Rebecca was involved in the Illinois Physical Therapy Association (IPTA) where she served as her school’s liaison. Rebecca dedicated one semester of her graduate school career to creating and implementing several fitness programs for students at a special education school. She had the opportunity to treat a variety of different patient conditions through her clinical education experiences in outpatient orthopedics, acute care, inpatient rehabilitation, and outpatient pediatrics.

Rebecca’s passion for physical therapy developed at a young age when her younger brother was enrolled in several therapy disciplines. This is where she saw and learned the positive impact physical therapy has and made it her goal from a young age to become a physical therapist.

Rebecca first started working for Doctors of Physical Therapy in the Summer of 2019 as a rehabilitation technician to continue learning and enhance her orthopedic knowledge. She has now happily returned to Doctors of Physical Therapy as a practicing physical therapist.

Rebecca strives to help her patients improve their quality of life. She understands every patient is unique and has individual needs. With this in mind, Rebecca creates specialized physical therapy plans for each patient.

In her free time, she enjoys going for long walks, traveling, and spending time with her friends and family, especially her dog Buddy.
