Suzie Koch, PT, MPT, CFMT is a licensed physical therapist with a masters degree in physical therapy from Northwestern University Programs in Physical Therapy class of 1998. She has a post-graduate certification in Functional Manual Therapy with honors from the Institute of Physical Art class of 2012. She has experience in Pilates for physical therapy since 2004. She has been a staff physical therapist at DPT in Northfield since June 2021. She spends an hour of one-on-one treatment time with patients. Her focus is managing a patient’s functional limitations and symptoms with a systematic whole-body approach. She provides extensive patient education, kinesthetic awareness and training during an assessment and video gait analysis to demonstrate how system wide identified mechanical, neuromuscular and motor control dysfunctions may be associated with a patient’s symptoms and functional limitations. This way the patient becomes an integral part of his or her healing and movement re-education process.
