Richard Hartmann, PT, MS, ATC

Richard Hartmann, PT, MS, ATC graduated from Illinois University receiving his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science. Following his Bachelor degree, Rick returned to ISU to obtain his Master of Science in Athletic Training. After working in the athletic training field for a couple years, Rick knew he wanted to do more in the healthcare profession. He went on to attend Finch University of Health Sciences to continue his education to obtain his Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy. Rick has vast experience in treating general musculoskeletal injuries, sports related injuries, occupational injuries, post-surgical care, joint replacements, headaches and chronic pain. He enjoys treating all musculoskeletal conditions especially ones involving the foot, knee and shoulder.


Rick believes the manual skills and clinical reasoning emphasized in these programs have been of great benefit to the outcomes he achieves with his patients.

 

Rick is excited to be the clinic director for the Antioch Clinic. He is also excited to be a part of an exceptional team of therapist in Antioch. The goals of striving to improve each other’s skills, allowing each other to provide the best care and outcomes possible for their patients.


When Rick is not treating his patient’s, he enjoys spending time with his family. Rick also enjoys staying active, especially with running and strength training. Rick has enjoyed participating in numerous marathons over the years. He even participated in the Boston Marathon in 2005.


Rick is a proud member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA).
