We Are Open To Help You Get Better Faster
At Doctors of Physical Therapy, we place the health of our patients and staff above all else.
Amid ongoing concerns about the Coronavirus COVID-19, Doctors of Physical Therapy is closely monitoring the latest reports from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO) and has taken a number of precautionary measures for the health and safety of our patients and employees.
We want to provide our patients with peace of mind, knowing that our facilities are being maintained in a manner that is commensurate with the severity of the situation.
We take pride in providing clean and well-maintained offices. We assure you all surfaces and equipment are cleaned after every use with an EPA-registered, hospital-grade disinfectant to decrease environmental contamination. Plus, every evening all surfaces, equipment, door handles, light switches etc. are disinfected with the same product.
We have advised our staff of preventative protocols from the CDC, including frequent hand washing, avoiding touching their face, and limiting non-essential physical social contact. We have also directed our staff to remain at home if they are not feeling well or suspect that they may have come in contact with someone who has contracted the virus. Upon checking in, we are requiring all patients to use our supplied hand sanitizer and will offer masks to use during the therapy session if they wish, although the CDC does state that masks will not protect from the spread of the Coronavirus.
Doctors of Physical Therapy is closely following the instructions and guidelines issued by national and regional health authorities in order to do our part in stopping the Coronavirus spread. Based on the guidelines provided by the CDC, we are keeping our doors open in order to provide you a safe environment in which we can give you the care you need to improve your physical health. As this is a fluid situation, we will continue to make decisions informed by the latest science-based information and guided by our missions and values. In some cases, we may have to make quick decisions in order to put your safety and the safety of our employees first.
We would ask that you take these same precautionary measures. If you’d like more information, we recommend the following sources:
