What to expect at your first appointment at any of our three Orange County clinics. No referral needed to get started.
Getting started
Thanks to direct access, you can usually start physical therapy without a doctor’s referral. Check your insurance plan for its specific rules.
Your first visit is a comprehensive evaluation, typically about 60 minutes. Your therapist learns about you, your injury, and your goals, and builds your plan of care.
Follow-up appointments typically last 45 to 60 minutes, with the same therapist whenever possible.
Before you arrive
To save time at your first visit, complete your new patient paperwork ahead of time. You’ll receive a digital intake form before your appointment, or you can download, print, and bring the forms below.

Bring your health insurance card and a photo ID. Dress comfortably so the injured area is easy to reach. We can provide a t-shirt or shorts, but your own comfortable clothes are best.
