Where we come from
Huntington Beach Physical Therapy Specialists started with a simple goal: be the premier physical therapy clinic for Huntington Beach. Twenty-five years later, that one clinic has grown into five, Huntington Beach, Huntington Harbour, Tustin, Mission Viejo, and San Clemente, with our flagship located at Hoag Medical Center in Huntington Beach.
What hasn’t changed is how we work. You see a licensed physical therapist who knows your plan. Our team includes Titleist Performance Institute–certified golf specialists, pelvic health experts, and sports performance clinicians, the most accomplished physical therapy team in Orange County, and it’s not something we say lightly.

Built from zero, built for patients
Founder Aaron Kraai started folding towels at a physical therapy clinic at age 14. He opened the first Doctors of Physical Therapy clinic in 2005 and built the company from nothing, with one goal: a PT organization where clinicians lead, patients win, and excellence is non-negotiable.
Today that network spans clinician-led clinics nationwide. Huntington Beach Physical Therapy Specialists is proud to be part of it, same trusted local team, now backed by a national standard of care.
