Vestibular Rehabilitation

An estimated 90 million Americans experience dizziness at least once. People with symptomatic vestibular dysfunction have a 12-fold increase in the odds of falling. Customized vestibular rehabilitation programs resolve symptoms more effectively than generic ones.

Symptoms

What dizziness can look like

  • Vertigo

  • Lightheadedness
  • Fatigue
  • Wooziness

Vertigo can be caused by peripheral (inner ear) and central (brain) vestibular deficits. Three quarters of vestibular disorders are peripheral, and the most common is benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV).
